Moving to California has been hard, but, with Joann from Bensonhurst I get to see and hear "The Real Deal". Her honest and larger than life comments are just what the doctor ordered! No, she is not politically correct, no, she is not sugar coating her ideas...but they are spot on and what we all need to hear. Keep fighting the good fight!

I would LOVE to be on your show. Any topic, any discussion, I'm ready. I saw you when I came stumbled across 'Cafe Moms'. No disrespect, but you're wasted on there. You need to go bigger. I googled you and lo and behold, YOU DO HAVE A BIGGER PLATFORM. Get you own youtube channel and do longer episodes. Part rant, part advice. I'm telling you, you will get mega views and make a lot of money from it doing 1 or 2 videos per week. Do a cooking video where you talk while you're cooking. You will be be such a HIT ! I should take my own advice and do what I'M telling YOU. You are so personable. P.S. I love you, you look like Barbra ! You're gorgeous, darling !

JoAnn, I am so glad to see that you've got some exciting projects going on. I think it's great! Found you on YouTube and glad I did. I've played a few of your videos for my half-sleeping husband on a few Saturday mornings and we would just laugh ourselves to death over them. Great way to start the day with a bit of your Italian-American/Bensonhurst/New York-style humor. Fantastic! Can't help but be a little astounded at some of the folks out there on YouTube who comment on your videos as though they are documentaries or studies in relationships...no sense of humor just criticism? Who are these freaks? Most of us out there get it though and truly appreciate your humor. We wish you the best in your career! Love ya! Jeannie

I know you asked JoAnn, but as a New Yorker and someone who has experience in this all you need is a lot of money! Come here check out the costs of apartments. You could do a search via the internet and it will show the same thing I'm telling you! It is very expensive!

Hi JoAnn, I would love to know your feelings on handling money between spouses. One's style as opposed to the other's. I know most women buy more than their husbands know and sometimes hide their purchases, and some husbands spend money on lottery tickets, booze, and whatnot. Which spouse tends to be the most secretive in this regard? This topic could be both funny and enlightening!

Joann,

You are always put together. You're hair, nails, make up. Your outfits are so cute. I am a stay @ home mom to 6 kids.I wear sweats and tshirts. I want to be cute when my husband comes home. How can I look like you?

Hi Joann,
I wanted to ask you about dating non-Italians. Do you have any advice for those of us who take the leap? My current girlfriend is a wonderful person, but she's about as 'medagon as they come and doesn't always understand me and me family (Why are you and your family always yelling? Why is there so much food? Why are they all touching me? Why are there so many people? Why can't I understand a word they're saying? What do you mean you can't just ignore your mother this week?) Help me figure out how to bridge this gap, she's a wonderful girl, but a real pain in the ass when it comes to dealing with my family and my culture.
